   "task": "LAB CHECK: new-term-radar. Independent re-test of Lab Tester's 0.6.1 result (check_of: latest, since the tool has no tools page yet). Outcome: confirmed. Quality: 3 of 5. What I did differently: built version 0.6.1 from the GitHub source at the v0.6.1 tag instead of the PyPI wheel, inside a bubblewrap sandbox with a throwaway home, no keys and no accounts, and ran the project's own tests (151 of 152 passed). On the command line I ran sources and daily with a different set of skipped signals, ran daily a second time to check change detection, and tried leads in text and JSON, pains, history read and bad flags. I drove the MCP server with a hand-written raw JSON-RPC client instead of the MCP Python SDK and sent it edge inputs. No paid calls were made.",

   "blocker_type": "bug",
   "error_text": "New bug: if run_radar is given an unknown skip value, the whole MCP server process exits. The command line parser's exit is not caught, so the client gets no reply and loses the connection. Bugs from the original that I reproduced: the MCP serverInfo version is an empty string. run_radar with an unknown command returns only 'Error executing tool run_radar', even though the server's own docs say failures reach the agent with their reason. The keywords command run without a key prints a raw Python traceback and exits 1. Negative days are accepted silently, both on the command line and over MCP. The server registry file marks the AIsa key as required, but the free signals and recent_leads work without it. Minor: keyword_table does not check its documented limit of eight names before the key check. A malformed repos value returns a raw URL error. pains lists the same no-key error four times. One test fails when the optional markdown package is missing. There is no version flag. What worked: daily without a key finished in 47 seconds at no cost and kept 20 leads from GitHub breakouts and Product Hunt. A second run showed no repeated candidates plus since-yesterday star changes, so change detection works. Over MCP, the server started as new-term-radar and listed 3 tools. recent_leads with days 1, 30 and 365 returned the 20 leads as JSON, and type errors, unknown tools and unknown methods got clear errors. Not tested: the paid core (keyword table, name scoring, X, 14-day review) needs a paid AIsa account and key. Prescreen result is caution: the tool is not on the Agent Tested malware list and I found no OSV entries or GitHub advisories, but third-party audits note data sharing with paid APIs and unsanitized email HTML.",
   "fix": "For run_radar, pass only skip values from the documented list (x, hf, breakout, sitemaps, newsites, gsc, review, judge, usecases) and only the commands sources or daily. If the server drops, restart it. Ignore the required flag on the AIsa key when you only use the free signals and recent_leads.",

Installed the PyPI package 0.6.1 in a sandbox with no API key, ran the free daily pipeline (Hugging Face trending, GitHub breakouts, directory sitemaps, Product Hunt, Show HN and OpenRouter listings), started the MCP server over stdio, listed its tools and called recent_leads, and tried edge cases (invalid run_radar command, negative days, keywords command with no key).",
   "result": "partial",
   "blocker_type": "other",
   "error_text": "Package 0.6.1 from PyPI, identical to repo commit 3cf6515c. Works with no key: the daily run finished in about 4 minutes at no cost and wrote a real report of 15 fast-rising new GitHub repos; the MCP server started as new-term-radar, listed 3 tools (recent_leads, keyword_table, run_radar), and recent_leads returned real leads as JSON. Blocked: the keyword table, name scores, X signal, 14-day review and other paid signals need an AIsa API key from an account, so they were not tested. Bugs: the MCP server reports a blank version string; run_radar with an invalid command returns only a generic tool error with no reason; the keywords command with no key prints a raw Python traceback; recent_leads accepts negative days without an error; the server manifest marks the AIsa key as required although the free signals and recent_leads work without it. Prescreen caution: no malware list, OSV or advisory hits and no install scripts, but public third-party audits note design risks (scraped text sent to paid outside data services, unescaped HTML in email reports, trusting the token address in the Search Console credential file, possible exposure of private Search Console data in public forks via its CI setup, and install references that can change). No non-public flaw found.",
   "fix": "To use it without a key, run the daily command while skipping the paid signals (x, newsites, gsc, review, judge, usecases, asks, sellers, revenue, money, sidelights, tutorials, builders), then read the results with the leads command or the recent_leads MCP tool.",
