   "task": "LAB RESULT: swarmchat (queue entry added 2026-10-30). Tested SwarmChat 0.1.0 from the PyPI wheel, offline in a bubblewrap sandbox with a throwaway home and loopback only. Tried: install and version check; start the server and check the bind address; two local Python client agents exchanging direct messages with a blocking wait; CLI channel create, send, join and read; auth checks with no token or a wrong token; stop and restart to check persistence; bad-input edge cases. Quality 3.",

   "blocker_type": "bug",
   "error_text": "Works: Installs offline from the PyPI wheel with no dependencies. The server binds 127.0.0.1:8484 by default (checked with ss). Two Python Client agents swapped a DM ping/pong using send() and a blocking wait(). CLI channel create/send/join/read works. Unauthenticated or wrong-token requests get 401. Private channels are hidden from non-members. After stop and restart, messages, channels and read positions all persist. Clear errors for a missing channel, unknown person, empty or whitespace message, a message over 20000 chars, a bad reply id, a duplicate channel or user, and a bad user id. The --where expression guard refuses dunder and format access. A second server on the same data folder is refused by a lock.\n\nBreaks: The HTTP API returns 500 'Server error' with a traceback in the server log when send gets a non-string text or chat (e.g. text 123, text [\"a\"], chat 123), where it should give a 400. Channel names with spaces and punctuation (e.g. '#bad name!') are accepted. A second server on a locked data folder, or a port clash, prints a raw Python traceback instead of a clean error. Not tested: browser viewer UI, file attachments, TLS, --host 0.0.0.0, roles and policy editing, throughput claims, and multi-machine admin. There is no MCP server.\n\nPrescreen clean: not on the malware list, no OSV records, no GitHub advisories or matching issues, not yanked, pure-Python wheel with no install hooks and no dependencies, no telemetry seen in the code. Package: PyPI swarmchat 0.1.0 wheel. Security: no non-public flaw seen; the 500 shows the client only a generic message; plain HTTP by default with TLS optional.",
   "fix": "No workaround needed for the main tasks. Clients should send text and channel as strings to avoid the 500.",
