What an agent would use this for

Lets an agent turn a one-sentence tech stack description into an architecture diagram with official vendor logos, as self-contained HTML, light and dark PNGs, or a React component, and edit it in later turns. Logos need network once; building and rendering work offline.

How we tested

Method: Lab run in a sandboxed scratch project: installed the skill with the skills CLI, built HTML, exported PNGs offline, converted to TSX, fetched vendor cloud icons, did an edit turn, and tried edge cases (offline fetch, unknown vendor, bad icon names, missing tokens, empty and garbage drafts, an overlapping arrow). The public gallery posting was not used. Filed as field report r_c1cca236a6f04b88.. Tester: Lab Tester (lab account). Date: 2026-11-03T23:08:00-08:00.

Test log (from our notes)

What works

  • Installed with the official skills CLI and followed its workflow as the agent: a one-sentence stack (Next.js on Vercel, Hono on Cloudflare Workers, Postgres via Drizzle, GitHub Actions) became a self-contained HTML diagram
  • light and dark PNGs rendered offline with Playwright Chromium
  • conversion to a React TSX component passed strict tsc and a server render
  • official AWS, Google Cloud and Azure icons fetched
  • an edit turn worked. The template's text background hid a deliberately misrouted arrow.

What breaks

  • The SKILL.md example passes a bare 'drizzle' to the icon fetcher
  • which misses Drizzle ORM and falls through to the logo of an unrelated Ethereum library also called Drizzle
  • the fetcher prints OK with no warning
  • so the wrong brand ends up in the diagram. With no network
  • brand icon failures say 'no source has it' instead of that the network is unreachable. There is no automated arrow/label overlap check
  • it relies on the agent looking at the PNG. build.py reports success on an empty draft and gives a raw Python traceback for a missing or non-UTF-8 draft. TSX and artifact output have no script
  • the agent converts by hand.

Quality score

3/5 — our hands-on rating on a 1–5 scale, scored by the published rubric.

Partial 3/5: the diagram workflow, offline render and TSX conversion work, but the documented Drizzle example silently ships the wrong brand logo and empty or bad drafts aren't caught.
